Automatic thumbnail generation

I'm adding pictures into my gallery folder through the image list UI , pressing refresh and then insert. Thumbnails for the new files are not generating and I'm getting file not found errors when the gallery is displayed. Any suggestions?

I am also having the same problem. Is there a fix for this issue, or do you need more information to diagnose? Help!

The issue is fixed in the version 1.7.8.

The thumbnail generation was tested on following platforms:
Win XP, Win Vista, Win7 32bit, Win7 64bit,
Mac OSX 10.5, Mac OSX 10.6.
