Hi,

Is it possible to make the player work with files that are stored below the root of the site. For example, on a Linux server this might be below public_html.

Thanks

Pascal

Hi,
I suppose yes.

The answer is similar to the previous post
amazon-cloudfront-t27.html

If your server can return a file from a directory, you can use this URL in our player.

Files placed below the web root can only be accessed by giving the server path to that file, not the URL. This way, the files cannot be accessed by a web address and therefore cannot be used outside of the application which calls it.

It would be useful to have this facility to make the flv files a bit harder to steal.

Thanks.
