I have created a gallery with 54 images. It works with no problem when checked with DW’s Preview in Browser. However, when uploaded it fails, showing only the first image and then producing a series of “File not found” messages – one for each of the thumbnail files. I have checked and re-checked that the files are on the remote server, and in the same place as on the local site folder. DW’s synchronize function tells me there is no need to synchronize. And using CuteFTP, I can view the thumbnails, using the files on the remote server.

Can you help please?

First of all make sure that your images have lowercase extensions.
Otherwise you need to rename.JPG into .jpg.

Please send us the link to your page here - http://webstunning.com/support/

Thanks. The uppercase JPGs were the problem. Now overcome.
Another question. In browser mode, after double clicking a thumbnail to see the image full size, and then double clicking the enlarged image to see the thumbnail browser view again, I have to wait for the thumbnails to re-load. Is that as it should be?
I am viewing the gallery through IE9 on a Sony Vaio with Windows 7 Ultimate.
You can see the page at www.wideweb.net/MattGrad.html.

This is only the appearance of thumbnail images (animation). If the image was loaded then it is taken from the browser cache.
